Sun fish & Babies!

I hope you had a very happy Thanksgiving! We celebrated by taking a mini vacation to Monterey! My son was very excited to learn that there was (temporarily) a great white shark at the Monterey Bay Aquarium! The only one currently in an aquarium on the planet!!! My husband and I had not been to the aquarium since our honeymoon, so we thought it would be a great surprise to take our son to see the great white…and it was incredible!!! He was so excited! When we had been before (8+ years ago) my husband and I were so impressed with the sunfish…it stood out in my mind as one of the most extra-ordinary fish I’d ever seen! I tried to get a good pic, but it was difficult…yay for the internet, here is what they look like:

This one looks a bit different than the one in Monterey, but you get the idea! They’re HUGE and completely amazing creatures!
In other news, I’ve been working on some baby announcements seen below. They are a flat double sided card, nice & simple! I am looking for just the right envelope and leaning towards a sparkling yellow or pink one….

One side says, “Our love story continues….” Then the other side has the baby’s pics and info! Could that baby be any cuter!?? *squeal*
^_^
If you need to order Christmas stuff, you have to place your order before December 15th! I will be closed from Dec-18th thru Jan-1st……2007!!! I cant believe it! 2007! Wow!!! Dont worry though, I will still try to update here during that time!
xoxo, Mariah

We used to go to the Monterey aquarium all the time when we lived in Santa Cruz! The sun fish is definitely a favorite. He looks like a head with a tail. :)
